My Private Collection Terms of Use
Terms for My Private Collection, provided by Marimia Trading FZ-LLC.
Updated 6 October 2026
Using My Private Collection
My Private Collection helps you keep a personal record of handbags, jewelry and watches. You retain rights to the information and files you add. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use them. The app does not authenticate items, establish legal ownership, provide valuations or arrange insurance. Recorded prices and insurance details are information you enter, not professional advice or a guarantee of coverage.
Availability
The app is currently being tested. Features and availability may change, and there is no public App Store release or live subscription at this stage. Keep independent copies of important records and original documents. Do not rely on the app as your sole evidence of purchase, ownership or insurance.
Membership
Adding and editing items requires an active annual membership. A seven-day introductory free trial is available to eligible customers when offered on the purchase screen. Apple’s purchase screen shows the applicable local price, duration and eligibility before you confirm. We do not charge through this website. Test purchases in Xcode or TestFlight do not charge real money.
For an App Store subscription, payment is charged to your Apple Account. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, a subscription renews automatically and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. A free trial converts to the paid subscription unless cancelled in time. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues until the current entitlement ends, subject to Apple’s rules and refunds.
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Refund requests are handled through Apple and applicable consumer law. Viewing, Excel export, backup, recovery and deletion remain available when membership expires. Adding and editing require an active membership in the released app.
Voice and text drafts
On supported iPhones, Describe your items uses an English voice or typed description to propose up to five editable item drafts. This feature requires iOS 26 or later, an Apple Intelligence-compatible device, Apple Intelligence enabled and its on-device model available. Voice input also requires microphone and speech-recognition permission and available on-device English recognition. The regular item form remains available when these features are unavailable.
Transcription and generated drafts may misunderstand brands, names, numbers, ownership details or which facts belong to which item. Review and correct every draft before saving. Missing or uncertain details may be left blank or flagged for clarification. Generated drafts are a convenience, not verification, valuation, insurance advice or proof of ownership. Details outside the draft fields can be added manually; original item descriptions are retained in Notes when saved.
Reminders
Watch-service reminders and the single reminder after seven days away are optional and scheduled locally on your device. Choose a service date based on your watchmaker’s advice. Notification permission, device settings, Focus modes and operating-system limits can affect delivery. Reminders are not a guaranteed maintenance or insurance deadline service.
Storage, backup and recovery
The current app stores data on your device. A full backup is a dated snapshot that you explicitly save through Files. If you choose iCloud Drive, its availability and upload status depend on your Apple Account, storage, connection and Apple services. Automatic device synchronization is not currently provided.
Keep more than one dated backup and confirm cloud uploads before removing the app or changing devices. Excel export is a readable record, not a complete restore file. Restore adds missing items or separate copies of conflicting items rather than overwriting your current entries. We cannot guarantee recovery of information that was never backed up or whose backup has been lost or damaged.
Privacy and support
Our Privacy Policy describes storage, permissions, exports and support correspondence. For help, email hello@marimiagroup.com.
App licence and your rights
When distributed through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies to the app licence unless a different licence is provided there. These terms explain the service and do not remove mandatory consumer rights or protections under applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app develops. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this website as appropriate. Subscription price changes follow Apple’s applicable notice and consent processes.
